Completely open your sliding patio door.
Open the door about half way lift it straight up and pull the bottom toward yourself until it is free of the track.
Do the same at the other corner and then remove the door by pulling it down and out of the upper track.
To start your sliding glass door adjustment project first lift or lower the door on the track with a screwdriver or allen wrench.
Raise it just enough to clear the track and roll smoothly.
Then remove the door stop at the top of the frame which should be as simple as unscrewing it.
Locate the two adjusting screws at the bottom of the door on the face or edge of the door and pry off the trim caps that cover the screws.
First locate the roller adjustment screws and use a screwdriver to turn the screws counterclockwise.
This will retract the rollers and make the door flush with the track.
With the wheel raised pull the corner of the frame out of the track.

Take the flat head screwdriver and insert it into the track channel using it to loosen any dirt or debris that may be present.
Then using screws with a thread diameter no larger than the width of the original track partially screw them securely equally spaced in a line from one side of the break to the other.
First brush and wipe clean the broken area to be repaired.
Built up dirt or loose debris can cause a door to stop sliding and ride off the track.
Use the blade of an old screwdriver to pry stubborn dirt loose.
Remove the door from the track.
